Key Activities
Despite being easy to identify all activities that a company performs or can perform, defining what the central activity of the company is may be a difficult task, especially in companies that provide services. The correct definition of the Key Activity of a company is: the most important activities in executing a company’s value proposition.
Therefore, we can say that all business models require one or more Key Activities, that can be defined as the most important actions that a company must carry out in order to apply its business model successfully. It is of the utmost importance that Key Partnerships and Key Activities are able to create a strong value proposition to:
i) reach the markets;
ii) maintain relations with customers and partners;
iii) generate revenue.
Similarly to Key Partners, Key Activities vary based on the business models of the companies.
